Tammie's Story

Tammie Laird is first and foremost a believer in Jesus Christ. She is a mother, grandmother, friend, and survivor. Tammie was raised in Port Neches, TX. As an adult, she moved to Houston, TX where she gave her life to Christ in 1987. In 1992, she married her late-husband, Tim, and together they created White Stone Ministries. Tammie wrote an inner-healing bible study called Isiah 61. After the death of her husband in 2006 to cancer, father in 2015 to rocky mountain spotted fever, step-father in 2018 to cancer, brother-in-law in 2019 to cancer and daughter, Elora, to suicide in 2019, Tammie began her journey of  grief through tragedy while finding perseverance during the darkest times.

In 2021, Tammie wrote When the Hummingbird Flew about her journey of overcoming grief. You can purchase Tammie's book from Amazon using this link:

In 2020, Tammie began making Nightlights from recycled glass bottles to sell at local craft markets. They have become a best seller! She and her team make custom Nightlights out of almost any theme or image. Contact her on this website.

The focus of selling the unique handmade nightlights is to raise money for the Elora Laird Memorial Art Scholarship created in Elora's memory. It provides graduating seniors with a financial gift to help with their pursuit of higher education. Since 2020, we have given $16K dollars in scholarships to graduating seniors of the Alvin ISD  in Texas.
